Job 1:13-19 And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house: 14 And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them: 15 And the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 17 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee. 18 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house: 19 And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

Job 3:25 For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me.

Four modes of life: 1. Survival 2. Stability 3. Success 4. Significance

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

1. Develop a deep relationship with God through His Word and prayer.
2. Place your trust in Him, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
3. Read and study God’s Word.
4. Find prophets, like Pastor Loretta and Larry Huggins, so they can speak into your life from time to time.
5. Learn to listen to the prompting and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
6. Surrender all to God, including problems and weakness.
7. Believe in God’s timing.
8. Guard your mind.
9. Don’t focus on what the enemy might do; focus on what you can do, and know what your God can do because your God is bigger than your problem.
10. Tithe! Malachi 3:10-11 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open your the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts.
11. Find the time to visualize how your life is going to be different, that will give you hope.
12. Build your faith, your shield around you.
