Shadows of Eternity by Sharon Stark

In the midst of time
we glimpse eternity

In the moments of bliss
with those we love
togetherness

In the early morning hours
waking to quiet peace

When we open a new day
there is only being
serenity

These shadows earth gives us
of perfection to come
when He who inhabits eternity
calls us to a more glorious home

To that land of no horizons
where there is only light
we’ll leave time standing still
no more darkness, no more night
