A mirror gives us information about ourselves.
A mirror gives us information about ourselves.
The mirror causes us to reaffirm what we feel about ourselves – the level of our self-esteem, validating our emotional and mental outlook.
Matthew 22:39 And the second is like it: ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’
If we don’t love ourselves, we can’t love others the way God would have us to.
1 Thessalonians 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mat 22:37 Jesus said to him, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’
You assess yourself as you look in the mirror.
How do you see yourself?
We need to check ourselves with the perfect law of liberty.
If you’re looking in a mirror other than what God says about you, you’re looking at a distorted image.
Look into the perfect law of liberty.
If you want a true image of who you are, you are going to have look into the mirror of grace!
2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
Liberty- the freedom to omit things in your life that have nothing to do with salvation
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
You are going to see the opinion of God when you look into the law of liberty.
If we see ourselves as God sees us, we’ll go from victory to victory.
The Word of God has the power to change us.
