November 8, 2020The 12 Revelations You Need if You Want Peace, Power, and Authority – Part 3
ZChurch Service for November 7, 2020
REVELATION #9 – God is Not in Charge of Everything
In God’s original plan, He gave Adam dominion over everything. Adam was in charge of this world.
Adam yielded his authority to the devil, but what we lost in Adam, we regain in Christ.
Nobody gets saved until we, of our own will, allow God to come into our lives, e.g. “Whosoever will” (Revelation 22:17).
God is not in control of everything. “Choose you this day” (Joshua 24:15).
REVELATION #10 – The Authority of the Believer
You don’t have to be pushed around by the devil any more. God has given us authority over the enemy.
Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
You have to do something about the devil.
REVELATION #11 – The Book of Revelation is Allegorical
There’s a blessing on those who read the book (Revelation 1:3) and a curse on those who add to or take from what’s written in the book (Revelation 22:18-19). Don’t change anything and don’t try to add your interpretation to it. Stick to what is plain and clear in the word of God. Read the book, but don’t get caught up in guessing at what it means.
Don’t get caught up in fads of guessing when Jesus will return or who the anti-Christ is. Get caught up in understanding and believing the plain meaning of what’s written on the top of the pages of the Bible, not the possible meanings buried multiple layers deep.
REVELATION #12 – Forgiveness and Grace
God’s grace is everlasting.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
You’re not perfect:
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
The sooner you find out that Jesus died for sinners, the better off you’ll be. The sooner you find out that there’s no one perfect in this world, the better off you’ll be.
Proverbs 24:16 For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity.
If you fall, fall forward toward God.
Proverbs 24:16 For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity.
