Switch on Your Super Power!

2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

You are a new creature!  You are a God-class of being.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Psalm 8:4-6  What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?  5  For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. 6  You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet..

The dominion that we lost at the fall of Adam was restored in the resurrection of Jesus.

Only -begotten = Mano-genus = the original genetic perfect man. Jesus was genetically perfect.

Humans have approximately 30,000 genes but 98% of them don’t work.

With just less than 2% of our genes functioning, we’re still able to accomplish much.

As we yield to Jesus, He begins to modify our genes.

Jesus is the first person who was ever born again. Jesus took upon himself and into himself the nature of fallen man. He had to enter into sin to rescue us from sin.

2 Corinthians 5:21 – For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Romans 8:29 – For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

You and I were meant to be re-creators.  We are meant to work with God.  God gave us power to do His work.

Romans 8:11  But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

The Holy Spirit abides in us.  He is our superpower.  We need the Holy Spirit’s power now more than ever.

Ephesians 3:16  that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

Quit analyzing and start believing and obeying.

Renew your mind with New Testament teaching.  Learn who you are in Christ.  Stop condemning yourself.

Pray in tongues.  The more you pray in tongues, the more the love of God flows in you.

Why People’s Superpowers Aren’t Working:

Wrong belief system, wrong teaching, wrong doctrine, praying wrong.  Listening to the wrong people will hurt your superpower; confessing wrong.  Behaving wrong or walking as a mere, unchanged human being.  Not renewing your mind the right way will diminish your superpowers. Find out who you are and what you can do in Christ and meditate on that. A lack of Agape, unforgiveness, prejudice, intolerance, racism, xenophobia, factions, will inhibit your superpowers.  Faith works by love.

One Secret:  Praying in tongues will activate the gifts.  The gifts of the Spirit are love in manifestation, to help people.  The more you pray in the Holy Ghost, the more the love of God flows through you.
