Mixing faith with the Word of God and mixing up a miracle in your life.
Hebrews 4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
Mix – blend; bring everything together in one mixture. A lot of people have all the ingredients for their miracle, but there’s more to it than just having the ingredients. Where we mix faith and the Word is in our mouth.
Romans 10:8-10 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Confession activates faith.
The heart that believes in him receives the gift of the righteousness of God–and then the mouth confesses, resulting in salvation (Romans 10:10 The Passion Translation TPT)
That’s salvation. With your whole being you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it, right out loud: “God has set everything right between him and me!” (The Message Version)
Every time you speak in tongues, the Holy Ghost is activated in your life; power is operating in your life.
Jude 1:20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,..
Faith, holy faith and most holy faith!
Your mixmaster is your mouth, speaking in tongues! You have all the elements for your miracle, but you need to mix those elements together with Holy Ghost power by praying in the Spirit.
You have to have Holy Ghost faith. The church was birthed with Holy Ghost power.
Acts 11:24 (Barnabas) was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith…
The Spirit and the Word agree! We’ve got Holy Ghost faith!
1 Cor. 14:15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the rhema word of God. Man shall not live by bread alone but by the rhema of God.
Jesus said ”If you abide in me and my (rhema) abides in you, you can ask what you will and it shall be done for you. (Jn 15:7)
Man shall not live by bread alone by every rhema that proceeds from the mouth of God. (Mat 4:4)
We’re supposed to study and meditate the Word of God, but that’s only half of the equation. The other half is we’re supposed to mix it with faith. You energize your faith by praying in the Holy Ghost. The Word and the Spirit agree.
Get a promise of God and speak that word aloud; blend it with the spirit by praying in tongues.
Move back and forth between praying in tongues and praying in your understanding.
Oftentimes when you’re praying in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit will give you a Scripture. Jesus said the Holy Spirit will bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. (Jn 14:26) Pray the promises the Holy Spirit quickens to you. Pay attention to those and repeat those promises.. Then switch back to tongues again, it should be smooth and seamless, natural.
Romans 8:26-28 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And (THEN) we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Whatever is not of faith is sin. (Rom.14:23) The big sin that is plaguing the church is lack of faith.
2 Thess. 3:2 …all men have not faith.
Luke 12:28 If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?
Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32
