James 2:14 Weymouth What good is it, my brethren, if a man professes to have faith, and yet his actions do not correspond? Can such faith save him?

Mark 5:25-29 NKJV 25 Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, 26 and had suffered many things from many physicians. Luke 17:5-9 NKJV 5 And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” 6 So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. 7 And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? 8 But will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for my supper, and gird yourself and serve me till I have eaten and drunk, and afterward you will eat and drink’? 9 Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him?

“Don’t be upset about the promises that were made and not kept. They meant well but they didn’t follow through, and that caused disappointment for you. But God has not failed you, and God has not let you down and He never will. So don’t be upset about people, about their humanity, about their failures, about their faults. Just put all of your confidence in Jesus. Yes, love those people. Yes, have agape– unconditional love for those people. Learn how to love people who have faults. Learn how to love your enemies. Learn how to love people who have done you wrong, but always put your trust in Jesus because He will never leave you; He will never forsake you.
