John 14:1 TPT Don’t worry or surrender to your fear.  For you’ve believed in God, now trust and believe in me also.

Let = Tarasso (Greek) Allow. To stir or agitate. Roil – to make muddy. (Thayer’s) To cause one inward commotion. To take away calmness of the mind. To make anxious or distressed.

Not = absolute denial (Greek)

John 14:27 KJV Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
