October 14, 2020When you’re in a time of waiting, these verses help:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. – Proverbs 3:5-6
Be still and know that I am God – Psalm 46:10
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. – Matt.11:28

Amen sister Katherine – although I just said the same thing to Alecia, but maybe that’s because I have a lot of spiritually wise sisters.
I relate to the waiting theme you and Alecia are both on. It’s like, “wait yes, but how long before I start to wonder if I missed it.” Yet every time I start to ask God what to do next, or whether I missed it, or start to mull ideas of how to pray and fast long enough and hard enough to get some grand revelation, I’m instead prompted to just hold steady on the course I feel I was last given and do what I believe I was last told to do. And if I am missing it, I know God is able to correct me, so I’m just going to trust Him to do that.
I want to be where God has called me to be, doing what He has called me to be doing there, believing that the plans and provisions he has for me will be on that path.
Katherine, wonderful video — thank you! It is certain that everyone has at one time, or another wondered “help, when is my “yes” time!” Your video is encouraging. Please do more!
