A Suitable Place to Win

The Word of God teaches us to fight the good fight of faith; however, what does that mean? To fight a good fight, one must have a vantage point. In this message, Pastor Loretta Huggins shares the vantage point to win from. _________________

Romans 8:33-34 (Phillips)  Who would dare to accuse us, whom God has chosen?  The judge himself has declared us free from sin.  Who is in a position to condemn?  Only Christ, and Christ died for us, Christ rose for us, Christ rose for us, Christ reigns in power for us, Christ prays for us!

Acts 20:24  But none of these things move me.

1 Timothy 6:12-13  (NKJV)  Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

13  I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ Jesus who witnessed the good confession before Pontius Pilate.

Matthew 3:16-17  When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending live a dove and alighting upon Him.  17  And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Fight -(verb) to compete fervently for a prize. To accomplish something. To endeavor with strenuous zeal to obtain something. To contend with adversaries.

Good –  beautiful, chiefly good, valuable, eminent, surpassing, useful and suitable.

Fight – (noun) properly is a place, a suitable place for you to win. 

Contend with all adversaries in and from a place that is suitable for you to win.

Deuteronomy 28:13  And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath.

Romans 8:37-39  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.  38  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

(At 59.26)  “Don’t quit God.  He won’t quit you.  Don’t quit His Word, it’ll get you through.  Don’t quit the Holy Spirit, he’ll give you the power to do what you want to do.  Don’t quit the family of God, they’re gonna be there when you need them.  Don’t quit doing what you know is right, and keep fighting faith’s good fight. ~ Pastor Larry
