Jeremiah 17:9 KJV The heart (mind, will, emotions) is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
Jeremiah 17:9 ABCE (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition) The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely, mortally sick! Who can know it [perceive, understand, be acquainted with his own heart and mind]?
Colossians 1:2 ABCE To the saints (the consecrated people of God) and believing and faithful brethren in Christ who are at Colossae: Grace (spiritual favor and blessing) to you and [heart] peace from God our Father.

- Setting low goals
- Procrastination
- Perfectionism
- Quitting
REMEDIES FOR THE IMPOSTER SYNDROME
- Be a doer of the Word. Colossians 1:12 KJV Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. Colossians 1:12 AMP – giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints (God\’s people) in the Light. 1 Timothy 6:17 KJV – Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
- Go to work for the Lord. Colossians 3:23 KJV And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Colossians 3:22-25 MSG Servants, do what you\’re told by your earthly masters. And don\’t just do the minimum that will get you by. Do your best. Work from the heart for your real Master, for God, confident that you\’ll get paid in full when you come into your inheritance. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you\’re serving is Christ. The sullen servant who does shoddy work will be held responsible. Being a follower of Jesus doesn\’t cover up bad work.
- Make a conscious effort to change your subconscious. Romans 12:2 KJV And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
- Praying in tongues will help you have a transformed mind. Romans 8:27 KJV And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God Ephesians 5:14 KJV Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. Ephesians 5:18b-19 KJV …be filled with the Spirit; 19 speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
- Take communion with confidence. Jesus made us worthy. (see above, Col 1:12)
- Giving is a cure for the fear of success.
1 Corinthians 5:27-30 KJV Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation (self condemnation) to himself, not discerning the Lord\’s body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
Isaiah 53:5 KJV But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Romans 8:32 KJV He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Malachi 3:10-12 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. 11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. 12 And all nations shall call you blessed; for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts.
