Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? go thy way: thy faith hath made
(Luke 17:17 & 19 )
Do you want to be super blessed? If you do what the Samaritan did you can multiply your blessings. It’s easy – just Give God Glory!
Jesus healed TEN lepers, but just ONE returned to give Him glory.
That’s sad, isn’t it? Do just 10% percent of the people give God glory for their blessings? No, it’s worse! I’ve found that today even fewer people ever publically testify of their blessings.
That’s appalling but we shouldn’t be surprised. Paul warned perilous days would come when people would
All ten lepers begged Jesus to heal them, and He cleansed all of them. However, nine out of the ten were unthankful for their blessing. Only one came back to thank Jesus:
“And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God.” (Vs. 15)
Jesus called the Samaritan’s praises faith, “…thy faith hath made thee whole.” (Vs. 19)
I’ve seen many lepers. It’s a terrible disease that starts at the extremities – the nose, the ears, the tips of the fingers and the toes. It eats away body parts. When a person is healed, the disease stops, but body parts are still missing.
Do you see it? All ten lepers were healed, but only one was made whole. Wow! Giving God glory brings even bigger blessings into our lives. It restores things that are lost or missing.
Do you feel there might be something holding up the greater blessings in your life? Do what the Samaritan did, “He turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,” (Vs. 15)
