Why I Believe in Miracles by Larry Huggins

My ministry began 58 years ago with a miracle. Not a minor miracle. A major miracle.

My son was stillborn.

There was no one to help us. We were in a small cabin in the mountains during a storm. No electricity. No running water. No telephone. The nearest hospital was 25 miles away, and the logging road leading to the cabin had been washed out.

There was no one to help us.

But God was there.

I fell on the floor and began to pray. I prayed harder, stronger, and more fervently than I had ever prayed in my life. It was intense. Desperate. Holy.

After what seemed like an eternity, something happened.

There appeared to be a flash of light in the room. It was as though a spark passed through the air. My body jerked, and then my little baby’s body jerked.

He took a breath.

Then he started crying.

And I started crying.

God had raised my son from the dead.

From that moment on, my life changed forever. I told God, “I’ll go anywhere You want me to go. I’ll do anything You want me to do.”

And He took me up on that promise.

He sent me throughout the USA and around the world, to scores of nations to demonstrate His power.

And from that day forward, miracles became a way of life for me.

I have witnessed blind eyes opened, deaf ears opened, cripples healed, cancers healed, diabetics healed, hearing restored, and damaged brains healed. I have seen creative miracles, including a woman who was born without nostrils and instantly received them by the power of God. I have also witnessed people who had steel rods in their backs supernaturally healed as those rods disappeared by the power of God.

You see, I believe in miracles because I cannot deny miracles.

I have lived by miracles.

I have traveled around the world demonstrating God’s miracle power to people in scores of countries. Tens of thousands of people have attended my open-air miracle crusades.

And through all these years, I have discovered something important about miracle ministry:

Miracles are a partnership.

The responsibility is not completely upon the person seeking a miracle, and it is not completely upon the minister who is praying. Faith works through connection.

When people hear about the ministry God has given me and take steps to connect with me, they are already moving in faith. Those steps matter.

Then, when they connect with me in a service, their faith joins with my faith and with the anointing of God. That is when miracles are activated.

You may say, “Ambassador Huggins, I don’t have much faith.”

Well, I do.

And if you have enough faith to reach out, enough faith to connect, and enough faith to expect God to move, then together we are going to get the job done.

Because I truly, genuinely, without a doubt, believe in miracles.
